Install

Windows

1. Make a folder for the game, for example C:\Games\SoulSeal, and put SoulSealLauncher.exe in it.
2. Double-click it. The launcher is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you: click More info, then Run anyway.
3. Log in, or create an account, and press Install.

Linux

1. Put SoulSealLauncher.x86_64 in a folder of its own.
2. Make it executable: chmod +x SoulSealLauncher.x86_64 (or tick “Allow executing” in the file's properties).
3. Run it, log in and press Install.

The launcher puts the game in a SoulSeal folder next to itself.

What the launcher does

• Updates itself when a new launcher is published, before you log in.
• Downloads only what changed. Game files are split into chunks; an update fetches just the new chunks, four at a time, with pause and resume.
• Repair checks every installed file against the published build.
• Two channels. Stable is for everyone. QA gets new builds first and is open to QA testers. Both install side by side, so switching doesn't download again.
• Play logs you straight into the game on the channel you picked.
• Shows the news and whether each realm is online.
